Tuberculosis Research Centre (TRC),
ICMR, Chennai
The National
Institute of Siddha has entered into Memorandum of Understanding(MoU)
with Tuberculosis Research Centre (TRC), ICMR, Chennai for
evaluating the efficacies of Siddha drugs in treating Tuberculosis
and MDR-TB. Dr. S. Boopathiraj, Director, NIS and Dr. P.R.
Narayanan, Director, TRC, ICMR, Chennai have signed the MoU on
17.06.2008 in presence of Chairman of Scientific Advisory Committee
of NIS

 

MoU with Anna University, Chennai
The
National Institute of Siddha has entered into Memorandum of
Understanding with Anna University for providing Scientific evidence
to Siddha system. Director, NIS and Vice Chancellor of Anna
University, Chennai have signed the MoU on 17.4.2008 in presence of
Chairman of Scientific Advisory Committee of NIS.
A team has been formed at NIS to follow up the research
activities and for further developmental purposes. The members are:

National
Institute of Siddha, Chennai -47 is one of the National Institutes
established by the Government of India as an Autonomous Body under
the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family welfare with
a mandate of imparting an integrated Post Graduate Degree Program
in Siddha and further research in the Siddha system of Medicine.
This Institute is engaged imparting PG education in six disciplines
in Siddha with a total intake of 30 seats per year and has 120
bedded hospital
Applications invited for
Accounts Officer Post from serving Employees of Central/State
Government, Autonomous Bodies, Undertaking on deputation basis on an
initial period of two years.
1.Accounts

Experience:
(i)
AO/AAO/ Group B Officer
with at least 8 yrs experience in a responsible capacity in Group B
post in Govt./Semi Govt. Dept. or Audit Dept. (Civil, P&T, &
Railways)
(ii) Adequate
experience in work relating to internal audit, Govt. Procedures or
budgetary control and accounts, knowledge of rules and regulations
of Central Govt. etc
(iii) Preference
will be given to CA/Cost Accountant Trained in Financial Management/
Commerce graduate, in that order.

General Conditions:
1. The
candidates should have not attained the maximum age as prescribed in
against each post on 10.06.08
2. Interested
candidates may apply in the prescribed application form which can
be obtained on submitting a written request accompanied by
(i) self addressed envelop, (ii) a demand draft
drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Siddha, Chennai
on any Nationalized bank for Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred Only). The
completed application should reach the Director, National Institute
of Siddha, Chennai -47 on or before 10.06.08. For the post Against
Sl.No.1, applicants are not required to pay the fee.
3. Candidates
in Central/State/Autonomous body should be forwarded through proper
channel. No action will be taken on applications received directly
or advanced copy of application received.
4. Applications
received after the due date will not be entertained.
5. Director,
National Institute of Siddha shall reserve the right not to fill any
or all the posts advertised hereunder without assigning any reason.
Mere Possession of the criteria fixed above shall not entitle the
applicants right to get selected for the post and the National
Institute of Siddha shall evolve its own procedure in limiting the
applications for consideration of the posts.
